Cache simulation Pintools
I wrote a few Pintools while characterizing programs for Darpa's ACIP
project.
- Cheetahtool feeds Cheetah, a multi-configuration simple cache simulator, with instructions from my x86 programs.
- Dinerotool feeds Dinero, a detailed multilevel cache simulator, with instructions from my x86 programs.
The Pintools tools are made available under a Free license, but note that the
underlying simulators have non-commercial use restrictions. I urge
users of these tools to
report bugs and contribute patches.
