Gordy Carichner
CAEN Welcomes
CAEN and the Department of Electrical Engineering welcome Gordy Carichner to the College. Gordy will be supporting the ECAD packages available on the network. These packages, used by underclassmen, graduate students and researchers alike, include Mentor Graphics, CADENCE, EESOF, and Avant!
Gordy and his family are returning to the Ann Arbor area after working at Motorola in Austin, Texas for the previous seven years. Gordy earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in EECS at the U-M College of Engineering in 1989 and 1991 respectively. Besides spending time with his wife and young son, Gordy enjoys golf, basketball, and playing rock guitar.
